Shu Ha Ri: A Journey Toward Agile Mastery
I used the Japanese progression of Shu, Ha, and Ri to make sense of my own Agile practice. Shu is disciplined practice of an established form; Ha is where I test and adapt it; Ri is the ability to act from principles rather than copy a recipe.
I connected that learning to my work with organisations and teams: people need enough structure to build fluency, and enough reflection to change what no longer serves the work.
