Processing as a theatre tool

Open-source creative coding · 2010

Processing gave me an accessible way to turn computational ideas into live visual systems. In the 2010 draft, I used it with Daniel Shiffman’s Most Pixels Ever library to coordinate imagery across multiple displays.

That combination connected the exploratory culture of media lab arts with a practical theatre need: a low-cost system that could be rehearsed, operated, and adapted by independent artists.
