Cloudflare-first solutions
I’m exploring Cloudflare-first solutions: starting with Cloudflare when a new idea needs somewhere to take shape, then testing whether it fits the work.
Why this interests me now
My cloud experience overlaps. AWS was a major part of my SalesCandy years, and I also worked with Google Cloud there. I worked with Azure in 2023–2025, returned to Google Cloud for certification in 2025, and am now experimenting with Google Workspace integration. Alongside that, Cloudflare is the platform I most want to explore right now.
The attraction is a fresh set of constraints. I want to see how a different starting point changes what I prototype, how quickly I can get feedback, and how much attention stays on the people using the result. “Cloudflare-first” is a working preference to investigate, rather than a conclusion that every project belongs there.
Questions I’m exploring
- What is the smallest useful version of an idea I can put in someone’s hands?
- Which parts of a solution fit this platform naturally, and which need a different approach?
- How do the choices I make during a prototype affect operating and maintaining it later?
What I’m bringing to it
Building a SaaS product taught me to connect architecture with delivery, reliability, and the people doing the work. I’m bringing those habits into this exploration, with room to reconsider assumptions I picked up on other platforms.
